CONDITIONS WE TREAT

Could Chiropractic
Help Your Pain?

Our GCC-registered chiropractor uses current, evidence-based treatment techniques to deliver targeted, effective care for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.

🦴 Back Pain & Low Back Pain

Back pain can stem from muscles, joints, discs or nerves in the spine, often building up over time due to poor posture, injuries or daily strain.

🤕 Neck Pain & Stiffness

Neck pain and stiffness are often linked to poor posture, muscle tension or joint dysfunction in the cervical spine, leading to reduced mobility and discomfort.

⚡ Sciatica & Leg Pain

Sciatica occurs when the sciatic nerve is irritated or compressed, causing sharp, shooting pain, tingling or numbness that travels from the lower back into the buttock and down the leg.

🧠 Headaches & Migraines

Many headaches and migraines are linked to tension or biomechanical issues in the neck and shoulders that can trigger pain and increase the frequency or intensity of attacks.

💪 Shoulder & Arm Pain

Shoulder and arm pain can result from injuries, repetitive movements or dysfunction in the shoulder joint and surrounding muscles, often affecting mobility and strength.

🦵 Hip & Knee Pain

Hip and knee pain often develop due to joint stress, muscle imbalance or biomechanical issues that affect how your body moves and supports weight.

🦶 Ankle & Foot Pain

Ankle and foot pain can be caused by strain, poor movement mechanics or injuries that place excessive stress on the joints, ligaments and supporting muscles.

🔌 Trapped Nerve Pain

A trapped nerve occurs when surrounding tissues such as discs, joints or muscles compress a nerve, causing radiating pain, numbness or tingling in the arms or legs.

😬 Jaw Pain (TMJ)

Jaw pain related to TMJ dysfunction can cause clicking, stiffness, headaches and discomfort when chewing, talking or opening the mouth.

⛳ Sports & Golf Injuries

Sports and golf injuries often develop from repetitive movements, poor mechanics or overuse, leading to joint strain, muscle imbalance and reduced performance.

PATIENT TESTIMONIALS

Real People, Real Results

"Treatment has allowed me to get my life back"

At 22, migraines had taken over my life and I was suffering attacks daily. Living day to day was difficult, until I met Ross Currie. Ross made an enormous difference and his treatment has allowed me to get my life back. - Louise K

"Within 2 weeks of starting the treatment I had an incredible recovery."

I suffered for months with disabling pain in my back and leg which kept me off work. To say that this problem was severe was an understatement, it was all encompassing. I tried everything seeing several other therapists including an Osteopath and Physios but had no relief at all. I met Ross Currie and after getting X-rays done and a thorough exam he started adjusting my back. Within 2 weeks of starting the treatment I had an incredible recovery. Wow. - James M

"The progress in such a short time really shocked me."

Had hip pain and lower back tightness for 5+ years. Really poor posture too. I'm five sessions in with Morris and it's been a game changer for my mobility. Chiro can look scary on YT, but the adjustments are performed quickly, safely and you immediately feel relief. Morris is really nice guy and puts you at ease. Receptionist very friendly too.

The progress in such a short time really shocked me. Walking taller, better balance, can lean over to dress and pick things up with no pressure or pinching anymore. Wish I'd gone years ago. Remember to stretch, even 10-15 mins a day helps. - Harry 501

FAQ's

Is chiropractic care for me?

For thousands of patients everyday chiropractic changes their life and so on your first visit your Chiropractor will start by taking a comprehensive history including everything from lifestyle habits, past medical history and lifestyle habits to fully understand the cause of your complaint. Your Doctor will then follow this with a very thorough Physical examination to fully determine the cause of your problem.

After this the Doctor may or may not need to take X-rays, to help further understand your complaint. Although the majority of patients that we see have back and neck pain and this is what we are most recognised as being experts in, chiropractic has helped millions of people around the world with a whole variety of problems. Typical everyday problems that we see on a daily basis include…

  • Low back/pelvic pain and stiffness

As doctors highly trained in the nervous system, the most powerful system in the body, chiropractic can help unlimited signs and symptoms. If you are not sure if chiropractic can help your complaint please call or email the clinic and one of the chiropractors will be more than happy to discuss this with you.

Are spinal adjustments painful?

Some patients will experience a slight muscle ache the day after having their spine adjusted; this is normal and will usually pass within 24 hours.

How long will it take before I see results?

Many patients start seeing results after their first treatment. Patients with more severe conditions may need a few weeks of treatment before they can really see or feel a difference.

If I feel better after a few weeks of treatment, does that mean I’m cured?

If you’ve been living with pain for a long time, then you may think your problem is fixed as soon as the pain goes away.

However, what we’re aiming for is not just a treatment of the symptoms, but a treatment of the underlying causes and this can take time.

The duration of your treatment plan depends on your individual symptoms, so make an appointment to talk through your needs with our chiropractor.

Are we covered by private medical insurance?

We are covered by all insurers including Bupa, AXA, Norwich Union and Standard Life, Cigna as well as many, many others.

Will I need to go for many visits?

Most people need a few visits and some people need many visits. The number of visits that will be required to correct your condition depends on the severity of the condition, the length of time you had it, whether you exercise, if you are overweight, your stress level, whether you let it heal during the process or you continue to aggravate it, has it started to degenerate etc. Roughly speaking, from a symptom standpoint, people with an easy problem improve in a couple of days to a couple of weeks. Difficult problems can take months.
